Bearing tool recommendations - 22:48 12 Feb 11 Anyone recommend a good skate tool for popping bearings out easily?

Cheers!

Re:Bearing tool recommendations - 11:13 13 Feb 11 The axel of my quads works well! If you want to borrow it!

Also some of our team (who favour a more technical option) use a bearing press, but they are expensive. If you give me the wheel I can take it along to training and get someone to pop it out for you

Re:Bearing tool recommendations - 12:16 13 Feb 11 Not a lot of help but I find the Salomon tool is excellent but no longer available new. I did pick up one second hand on Ebay.

Nearest I can find to it is this Powerslide tool, but it doesn't have quite the same shape round the bit that grabs the bearing.

Salomon Tool

You can borrow mine for a couple of days if it helps.

Re:Bearing tool recommendations - 07:51 14 Feb 11 I tend to just use something round that fits in the hole. By rotating it around they tend to pop out easily enough. ! Skate Monkey !

This method, poorly executed is why my bearings look suspiciously like I've bashed them back into shape with the various flat surfaces on my desk.
