I feel guilty now... at least I've paid for next week so at least I'm still supporting you

I can get to Camberley at about 5.30 give or take a few ticks - it would be good to go together. Where shall we meet where I can park up for the evening.
I will be finishing an appointment HERE at about 5:30, and there are places to park. If you don't mind getting to here, I can drive.... or if you live reasonably close, I could pick you up save you having to drive home afterwards.

Kay, does that work for you?

Re:Brighton Indoor Winter Skate Jam Tue 24 Jan - 22:20 26 Jan 12 GYSO trip was great fun well worth the 1 1/2 hour trip down every once in a while, or if you are already in the neighbourhood for some reason. It would be fantastic if we got a bigger cskate group together for a future session On the tues the atmosphere was chilled and everyone was really friendly, most people were good skaters, a fair number were really good and showing off their dance, speed, backwards, bungee and slalom skills. The venue is fairly easy to get to (unless you have a moody anthropomorphized sat nav that insists you go into orbit around a quaint olde village and only decides to talk when huge great roadsigns are in plain sight!!), there's a bit of parking onsite with more on nearby streets. The rink itself is very nice, big floor, grippy, fairly clean and hair/crud free with a separate ramp and practice area, lots of seats and a nice barrier around the rink to lean on and do some serious spectating . . . Thanks to padrino for the transport and nunc for his slightly worrying tale of coming face to face with a rhino in the local woods . . . still not completely convinced that an element of alcohol or exotic substances were not involved in some way

Re:Brighton Indoor Winter Skate Jam Tue 24 Jan - 22:44 26 Jan 12 Ha Ha Chuckle The rhinoceros was 'seen' in the distance through the woods from a minibus on the way to Cranleigh one mid afternoon of total abstinence. Locals suggested it may have belonged to Ringo Starr . . . my co-witness has fled to Southern Australia (in fear) . . . . oh dear, I'm just digging myself in deeper aren't I?

Anyway . . . Tuesday was a good evening as stated.

Re:Brighton Indoor Winter Skate Jam Tue 24 Jan - 22:19 29 Jan 12 Sounds fun! So how to we convince GYSO to start a local roller disco nearer home? A great talk from @davecarroll at #DigitalSurrey tonight. He's the writer of the United Breaks Guitars song and a great talker - Twitter Status
