Eelmoor tonight (Fri 9th) - 14:15 09 May 08 If anyone else is up for meeting up for a few laps then I might try to get there early evening for some uninterrupted striding

If no one posts though, well I'll just skate home from work

Re:Eelmoor tonight (Fri 9th) - 22:25 09 May 08 Sorry I didn't join you, I couldn't cope with the idea of going around in circles and I always get bitten to pieces when I go there.

I decided to go for a street skate and inspired by by your comment about L2B training by going to ash ranges I headed that way... only I ended up actually doing it by mistake!

Here is the route. I actually found some lovely back roads (as well as some horrible ones) but with some tinkering I think it could make a really good skate in the summer, especially with a pub at half time! This route is 16 miles with a bit of doubling back.

Re:Eelmoor tonight (Fri 9th) - 12:01 10 May 08 I didnt go in the end lol! As I'd skated in to work yesterday and as eelmoor is pretty close to my work I thought of doing some fast laps and winging a lift home if anyone else was gonna come along... but instead I just skated the 6 miles or so home - so no worries...

Nice one on the route tho Dan! thats a great starter for what I was thinking for the errr... pre-L2B endurance training.

Re:Eelmoor tonight (Fri 9th) - 20:44 10 May 08 Hard to say, nothing bad and no different to the street skates we go on around Camberley except that the distances are more. There was a lot more pavement on my skate with that roots & slopes although hopefully I will be able to find smaller roads in time. Girls turn into women. Boys turn into bigger boys.
