Re:Brighton Skate 5th June - Jubilee Skate - 00:45 29 May 12 I'm hoping to come as it's a bank holiday!

My biggest concern is getting down there as the roads will be PACKED on a day off. Anyone know how much the train will cost?

Re:Brighton Skate 5th June - Jubilee Skate - 10:51 29 May 12 We could drive down earlier and make a day of it... I'd have thought most people would be where they wanted to be by then too.... wouldn't people be driving more on the Friday evening and Saturday, then not until Tuesday (on the way home)

Re:Brighton Skate 5th June - Jubilee Skate - 11:07 29 May 12 Oh yeah, I forgot you had to go through Clapham to get there

Anyone want to sponsor me to learn how to fly? I'd give lifts and everything!

Re:Brighton Skate 5th June - Jubilee Skate - 14:24 29 May 12 Sounds fun!
Did you here about the sponsored skate at Oxted School on Sunday July 8th?
There's a 5 , 13.1 or 26.2 distances on a circuit similar to Monaco (so brick walls, ups and downs, sharp corners etc), unlike Goodwood which is more like your British Grand prix.
Entry is £6 in advance (£10 on the day) and is limited to the first 200 entries. Only proficient skaters please although there will be a few from the School.
Look up www.rrarsc.co.uk for details shortly.

Re:Brighton Skate 5th June - Jubilee Skate - 14:28 29 May 12 Hi Barry, Can we keep threads separate please. There is already a thread on the Skate Conquest event.

Let us know (on that thread) when you have some details up. Thank you.

LOL!! I think learning to fly is a longer term strategy... it's not going to happen in time for next Tuesday, and if it did, I suspect you'd have few passengers brave enough to come with you

If we go, I'll happily drive, would be nice to get a car full(ish) though! I know that Paul is thinking about coming... wonder if Red 'n Merry are interested
