Camberley Arena Leisure Centre hold 3 different session on a Saturday, details are below:
Times: 8.30-9.30 Type of Skating: Group Lessons Cost: £2.50 Skating ability: All from absolute Beginner to advanced Age range: All – 3-90 This is a Great hour sessions where instructors (Jane, Mick, Darren) teach all abilities new movement, tricks and techniques. You are guaranteed to have something to practice after this session. Lessons are run simultaneously and up to 5 groups can be learning at the same time. Lessons are usually split as follows:
- Children’s Beginners
- Children’s Intermediate
- Children’s Advanced
- Adult Beginner
- Adult Intermediate/advanced
As you improve you move up to the next group.
Times: 9.30 – 11.20 Type of Skating: Free skate, Practice and Games Cost: £3.10 Skating ability: All from absolute Beginner to advanced Age range: All – 3-90 This take place directly after the lessons. The hall is split into two with a large main arena and addition space down the side which can be used for smaller children, practice, or just a rest!. It is a general skate arena with occasional games for all ages including bulldog, little man, Ball games and a speed-skating section.
Times: 17.00-18.30 Type of Skating: Teaching for Adult Beginners and Adult Free session – Sometimes including a Ball game Cost : £2.50 Skating ability: All from absolute Beginner to advanced Age range: Adults only This session is for Adults only. New skaters can receive instruction/lessons from instructors (Jane & Mick) while more advanced skaters can practice their skating without children around their feet. The sessions is a general skate with occasional ball games and Hockey. This session can last longer if the hall is not being used after 18.30.
